Worked Example: Making a Bella+Canvas 3001 T-Shirt Mockup

You have a transparent floral typography PNG design and need an unwatermarked photo for your Etsy listing thumbnail.

You download a commercial-ready 2700x2025 listing photo without paying $14.99/month for Placeit or dealing with intrusive watermarks.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Using mockups with watermarks that destroy buyer trust and make shops look amateurish.
• Downloading square 1:1 photos that get cropped awkwardly when displayed in Etsy 4:3 search feeds.
• Sizing the design too large on the garment, creating unrealistic buyer expectations about print size.
• Uploading designs with white background boxes instead of transparent PNGs.
• Using unrealistic flat-lays without fabric shading and natural perspective.
